Five quality ensuite rooms all detached from the main house adding to the privacy and comfort with superb views from your balconies overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Seaward Kaikoura mountain range. Set amongst half an acre of rose gardens and lawns with ample garden furniture to relax on, and a viewing platform – a true photographer's dream! At certain times of the year the dolphins will perform for you in the bay! All within minute's walk to the Kaikoura Township and all local sightseeing attractions.

Our location in the area is very central in a private and secluded street, directly off SH 1 north or southbound. Please refer to our map for details.
All recently-built rooms feature full ensuite, tea and coffee facilities, silent fridges, airconditioning, quality Sleepyhead beds, TV, bathrobes, hairdryers, electric blankets, home-baked shortbread and, of course, your own balcony where you can take in the breathtaking views and enjoy the peace and tranquillity our property offers. The Hampden Room on the ground floor has full wheelchair access.
Free Wireless broadband internet and coin operated laundry facilities are just some of the services we offer! Courtesy pick-up/drop-off to all trains and buses and secure off-street parking directly behind your rooms!

At Bendamere House we can offer advice and a booking service for all local attractions as well as accommodation further on your journey. Just let us know and we will be only too happy to help. As our summer season is so busy please be aware it is essential to book well ahead. Being a seaside town and most attractions being marine it is advisable to allow 2 nights stay as trips can be cancelled due to bad sea conditions. Bendamere House is not suitable for children.
